4 inchs off my waistline, yeah baby.
Some people say 'you dont need to loose weight' I say 'hell yeah I do'. Well, I did, 10 more lbs and I'll be good, I"m going to go 5 more days with the induction phase, then call it done, and move on to phase 2 and give myself some more carbs, glorious carbs.
So another 5 lbs gone in a matter of 2-3 days. yay. I'm 6'4 with a lot of musscle on my legs and back/neck, so my aim is for 195, what I was back in highschool when I was racing, I figure I'll be good at that. Not bad for coming down from 245 to my present 208. This Atkins thing mignt work out after all.
I feel accomplished because I can fit into old t-shirts I have that used to be skin tight, now they just look like normal loose shirts. Almost time to go shopping i'd guess! all my pants fall off of me, and I have to constantly use a belt for most of them. This shit feels wicked!
Man, I ate a family sized chicken last night, yay to Atkins. Hah.
I'm down another 5lbs so far this week, 15 lbs in total for the past 2, just one more week to go and then I can start phase 2. Which means 10-ish more grams of carbs
The woman's all worried due to the fact the atkins diet is pretty much the reverse of the fat free diet we were on.
I'm glad she figured out that once we get past phase one, we can have a lot more good stuff. Once we finish starving our bodies to death that is.
Fuck I could use a sammich.
So I've decided that despite the fact I've lost 25lbs (from 245 to 220) on the fat free diet, I'm going to do the whole Atkins thing.
The thing about the fat free diet is that its just too damn hard to follow and I'm always hungry. I don't follow it too strictly, so swapping diets should be fairly easy for me.
I've only got about 5-10 more lbs to reach before hitting my ideal weight, so it shouldn't be that hard. I don't gain weight in the summer anyway, all that geocaching/biking. But it'd be nice to lower my bmi to the point it was in high school/early college when I was active in marathon cycling.
